WEST ALLIS ANIMAL HOSPITAL BREAKS GROUND FOR NEW CLINIC
Chamber Member Dr. Brian Nelson began the construction of a new state-of-the-art veterinarian clinic. With the help of consultant Dr. Alan Ibsen and the design/build firm Chris Greene, Inc., the new 9448 sq. ft. facility will be located at 1736 S. 82nd Street, West Allis, WI 53214. The facility will provide innovative diagnostic and surgical services as well as grooming and up-scale boarding services including luxury boarding suites. Dr. Nelson has been in practice at this location since the early 1980’s. The site is of historical interest because a veterinarian (Dr. Sullivan) actually had a practice in this location at the turn of the century. Additionally, the house on the corner that will be replaced by the new animal hospital was once the West Allis City Hall.
