Gangster Golf Classic ‘08 was a Great Success!

The Chamber’s annual golf outing was a hit this year. Wednesday, July 16th was a beautiful day at Western Lakes Golf Course in Pewaukee. We had over 100 golfers and many more joined us for dinner.  Once again Western Lakes Golf Course has beaten par as a host for our event. We would like thank Majdecki’s Sentry and LifeTime Credit Union, without whom this event could not be possible. We would also like to thank the Village at Manor Park, Affeldt Law Offices, Maritime Mortgage, Larson Engineering, Meadowmere/Mitchell Manor, West Allis Heating and A/C and M&I Bank for their participation. Finally we would like to thank our committee and volunteers. This years golf committee was chaired by Ken Widenski, Village at Manor Park, and Kevin Donnelly. Other members include Diane Brandt,  Steve Affeldt, Jon Armstrong, Matt Christianson, Greg Essig, Don Falk, Tim Klare, Jason Rockenfield, and Mary Steinbreener. Our Volunteers at this event were Joanie Luedke, Joyce Marusinec, Natasha Rossa, Kathryn Devillers, Steve Lampone, Sue Zwitter, Karen Jasnewski, Neville Spanaus, Julie Spanaus, Joe Siehr, Michael Wogoman, Dianne Kempen, and Gordy Anderson.

Due to the terrific storms earlier this year, we did have to cancel the cruise portion of this event as large watercraft are still not allowed on Pewaukee Lake. We are hoping to bring this back for our non-golfers next year.
