Why should you join the West Allis/West Milwaukee Chamber of Commerce? PDF Print E-mail

Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the West Allis/West Milwaukee Chamber of Commerce!  Our Chamber has been  an active and integral part of our community since 1958.  Whether you need assistance or guidance in working with one of the communities or are interested in networking with other area businesses, our Chamber staff and committees will help your business grow.  Like anything though, you get out of your Chamber membership what you put in to it.

To join the Chamber, simply fill out the downloadable application form, or email our Associate Director, Michael Wogoman at Michael @ wawmchamber.com

In a typical year your Chamber will host a broad spectrum of business and social events, including, our Golf Classic & Cruise, Annual Membership Business Meeting, Educational Seminars, regular networking events, Gala Dinner Dance, Forks & Corks at the Farmer's Market, and a Holiday Charity Benefit, just to name a few.

Many businesses choose our Chamber because of the business-building opportunities.  As an example, many Chamber members and members of the local political community attend the monthly Business After Five events to socialize with one another, casually discuss business and related opportunities, and forge valuable professional relationships.

Come to the bimonthly ABLE networking breakfasts to network with representatives of three Chambers, meet approximately 90 business people every other week to network with.

So bring plenty of business cards to all of these events and get ready to meet your next client. Enjoy refreshments and good company!

In addition to carrying out its mission, the Chamber also has formed an Education Foundation which is a 501(C)(3) in order to partner with business and the educational community to raise charitable dollars through direct contributions and distribute these resources to support programs which nurture, enhance, and provide a quality learning experience for students in the West Allis / West Milwaukee community.

In January 2008, we also launched a new initiative, the YP Impact, to take action by bringing together young professionals for the purpose of business development, social involvement and volunteerism.

We look forward to working with you to help your business grow.  Good luck in all of your business endeavors!
