Ambassador Chairperson
As Marketing Director for Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor for the past five years, Mary is responsible for educating the community about Meadowmere & Mitchell Manor's services for seniors. She has been active in the chamber since 2001, first through attending the ABLE Breakfast Networking sessions, and joined the Ambassador committee in 2002. When asked what she enjoys most about volunteering with the Chamber, she says, "I have met a lot of wonderful people who are committed to the success of this community. I have learned so much from other members and have gained new friendships."
She also attributes the Chamber to helping her professional life, saying, "I feel an increased sense of confidence introducing myself to new people through my experience as an Ambassador. I have also greatly expanded my list of resources to tap into for various business needs."
In closing, Mary says, "I have really enjoyed working with Jim and Sue who eased me into my role as Ambassador Chairperson two years ago. I feel very blessed to have Diane Brandt and Sharon Larsen on our committee, who have been very faithful in accompanying me on visits. I look forward to teaming up with Gerise and Molly who have brought new ideas and energy to their roles as we further develop and grow the Chamber membership and services!"
