Gordy Anderson serves as a consultant to the manufacturing operations management team at P&H Mining Equipment following a 43-year career with the West Milwaukee-based supplier of equipment to the global surface mining industry. A native of Escanaba, Michigan, Gordy began his career as a machining apprentice with P&H in 1962.  Over the ensuing years he served in roles of increasing management scope and responsibility, concluding as Facilities Manager for P&H Mining Equipment at the time of his retirement in 2005. 

Beyond his service to P&H, Gordy is involved in several voluntary community affairs efforts including the Silver City Main Street organizing board.  Gordy also provides guidance to programs aimed at increasing the effectiveness of technical industrial training programs in the Greater Milwaukee area.  For over 20 years he has served on the Machine Tool Advisory Board of Milwaukee Area Technical College, and was for six years a member of the Wisconsin Manufacturers Curriculum Consortium.  Gordy is also an active programs volunteer for Saint Paul’s Lutheran Church in Downtown Milwaukee and  proudly serves on the West Allis/ West Milwaukee Chamber Board.
